“Rising star pianist” - Adrian Cox

Tom Ward is a rising star pianist in the UK Jazz scene. At just 22 he has played in some of London’s most prestigious venues as well as across the rest of the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, EFG London Jazz Festival and later this year he will appear at De Beauvoir Jazz Festival.

Tom’s virtuosic and engaging style has attracted the attention of many of the UK’s leading jazz stars, sharing the stage with artists such as Giacomo Smith, Pete Horsfall, Georgia Cecile, Kansas Smitty’s, Ewan Bleach and most notably, Jamie Cullum.

Influenced by the likes of Art Tatum, Fats Waller and Oscar Peterson, Tom’s musicianship is steeped in tradition, whilst remaining fresh and innovative. Tom’s unique musical voice is soon to be showcased in his upcoming debut album, “Bouncin’ & Barkin’ with the Tom Ward Septet”, comprised solely of his original music.
